Beverly Ann (Cabe) King
January 9, 1938 – December 7, 2017
Beverly Ann (Cabe) King was born in Tulsa on January 9, 1938 to Alfred Eugene “Bob” Cabe and Alice Mae (Hetrick) Cabe and passed away on December 7, 2017 in Shawnee.
Beverly attended Oklahoma’s Northeastern State College where she met and married Roy D. King. Two sons were born, Roy Daryl “Dee” King and Ronald David King.
Being a military medical family, they lived in numerous locations. Beverly was a full-time housewife, Cub Scouts den mother, and Sunday School teacher. In 1977, they moved to Holdenville to establish a medical practice with Beverly becoming the practice’s administrator. She later started consulting with a local company assisting medical facilities in their operations.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Alice Cabe; her husband of 43 yrs, Roy D.; brother-in-law and nephew, Kenneth and Kenny Lee Lott. She is survived by her son: Roy Dee and wife Leslie, grandsons Chris and Matt and their mother Karen King Lewis all of Shawnee. Also, her son Ron, wife Renee, and granddaughters Sarah and Hope of Edmond; and by five great-grandchildren Jadyn, Rayanna, Trent, Krockett, and Kade. In addition, her sister, Shirley Lott, niece Tamara Ann, and numerous great nieces and nephews, all of Hennessey. Also niece Rene’ King Thompson, husband Steve and son David, of Covington, Ky. as well as many cousins and friends. 
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Baptist Children’s Home or Wounded Warrior Foundation would be appreciated.
Services will be 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 13 at Walker Funeral Service Chapel, with burial at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
