Donald Floyd Elliott

Donald Floyd Elliott, 86 of Holdenville passed away on May 30, 2017 in Holdenville, Oklahoma.  He was born on July 27, 1930 to Joil Albert and Floy Viola (Price) Elliott.  He later joined the United States Army where he served our country honorably during the Korean War.  He volunteered with the American Legion.  After returning home from the war, Donald began his career as a pulling unit operator for Ralph Johnson.  He enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, watching western movies, going fishing, and picking pecans.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Katherine Elliott, son Robert Floyd Elliott, and all his siblings but one, Mary Alice of Seminole.  Other survivors include his wife, Lea Ellen (Wood) Elliott of the home, daughters Diana Hanson and Delphia Elliott both of Holdenville, six step-children, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, sister Mary Alice of Seminole, as

 

well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside service is scheduled for 10:00AM on Monday, May 5, 2017 at the Holdenville Cemetery in Holdenville, Oklahoma.  Rev.
